UEFA representatives have conducted a preliminary inspection of Baku Olympic Stadium ahead of Sabah's UEFA Champions League match against Slavia Prague.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Sabah press service head Elnur Hamidov said preparations are underway to ensure the stadium meets all UEFA requirements for the second round of the league phase.
"The arena has undergone a preliminary inspection. UEFA's requirements for this stage are known, and work is currently being carried out in this direction. Everything being done is aimed at ensuring that the stadium is fully ready by the required date," Hamidov said.
He added that UEFA representatives are expected to return to Baku in the coming days for another inspection.
Sabah will play their second match of the UEFA Champions League league phase at Baku Olympic Stadium on October 13, when the Azerbaijani club host Czech side Slavia Prague.
