As reported by İdman.Biz, Qarabağ head coach Gurban Gurbanov revealed the information at his pre-match press conference.
According to the Azerbaijani coach, Cephas picked up an injury during Qarabağ's opening Premier League match against Shamakhi.
The winger's condition has put his participation in the upcoming European fixture in the Netherlands in doubt.
Qarabağ will face Twente away on August 20, with the return leg scheduled to take place in Baku on August 27.
