Attendance figures for the opening round of the 2026/27 Azerbaijan Premier League season have been revealed.
As reported by İdman.Biz, a total of 9,597 spectators watched the six first-round matches from the stands.
The highest attendance was recorded at the Turan Tovuz vs Gabala match. A crowd of 4,800 attended the game in Tovuz.
Elsewhere, 1,350 spectators watched Sumgayit vs Neftchi, while 1,215 attended Qarabag's match against Shamakhi. The Sabah vs Kapaz game attracted 1,132 fans, Zira vs Shafa was watched by 800 spectators, and 300 attended the Araz-Nakhchivan vs Imishli match.
On the pitch, Turan Tovuz defeated Gabala 1-0, Sabah beat Kapaz 2-0, Neftchi secured a 3-1 victory over Sumgayit, and Zira overcame Shafa 2-0. Qarabag recorded a 3-1 win against Shamakhi, while Araz-Nakhchivan and Imishli played out a goalless draw.
