Qarabag's victory boosts Azerbaijan's UEFA coefficient

Qarabag's victory over Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League has affected Azerbaijan's position in the UEFA rankings.

According to İdman.Biz, Qarabag's 2-0 home win in Baku earned Azerbaijan 0.500 points towards its current UEFA coefficient.

As a result, Azerbaijan, with a coefficient of 21.687, sits 26th in the rankings. The country's neighbours in the table are Slovenia, who are 25th with 22.718 points, and Slovakia, who are 27th with a coefficient of 20.500.

Azerbaijan therefore trail Slovenia by 1.031 points, while holding a 1.187-point advantage over Slovakia.

It should be noted that the UEFA country rankings are calculated based on clubs' results in European competitions over the past five seasons.

England lead the rankings with a coefficient of 101.852.
