Azerbaijan Second League side FC Khankendi have announced the appointment of a new head coach.
According to Idman.Biz, citing FC Khankendi, the club’s management have entrusted the position to Zaur Gadiyev, who replaces Ibrahim Uzundja in charge of the team.
Gadiyev holds a UEFA B coaching licence. Over many years, he worked at the Gabala Football Academy, where he achieved successful results with teams of various age groups in domestic competitions. He also represented Azerbaijan with the U19 national team in the UEFA Youth League.
It is worth noting that Gadiyev’s most recent role was at Karvan-Yevlakh, where he served as an assistant coach.
