Qarabag have included Colombian winger Juan Cordoba from Dinamo Zagreb on their transfer shortlist. The player previously faced the Aghdam club in European competitions.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Sport1.az, if the transfer cannot be completed during the winter transfer window, Qarabağ may return to Cordoba’s candidacy in the summer. Transfermarkt currently values the player at 850,000 euros (1.7 million manats).
It is noted that the 22-year-old footballer featured in both legs of the UEFA Champions League playoff qualification round against Qarabağ two years ago. His performances in those matches attracted the attention of Qarabağ head coach Gurban Gurbanov.
In the current season, Juan Cordoba has not played a single official match for Dinamo Zagreb. His last appearance dates back to March 15, 2024.
