Azerbaijan Taekwondo Championships have been concluded.
Idman.biz reports that the competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev ended with the competition of athletes in the older age group.
On the last day of the championship held in the Baku Sports Palace, 16 sets of medals were won among male and female taekwondo players.
Tehsil RSC (Sumgayit) took the first place in the team account. Agjabedi OSC took the second place, Gomrukchu SC took the third place. They were followed by Neftchi SC and Khazar TC.
Jalil Abdullayev, Huseyn Mehraliyev, Sadyg Aghayev, Gunay Zeynalova, Zahid Nadirov, Imran Zalov and Zahid Nadirov were awarded as promising coaches of the year.
Ramal Askarov, Vasif Gurbanov and Dilara Hasanova were selected as the best judges of the competition. Rza Majidov and Basti Guliyeva won the nomination of the most active doctor of the year.
It should be noted that earlier the country's strongest teenagers and young taekwondo players were revealed. A selection tournament of parataekwondo players was also held.
