Inter Miami and Argentina striker Lionel Messi has spoken about his wish to return to Barcelona with his family, Idman.Biz reports.
“We really miss Barcelona. We constantly talk with the kids and my wife about what’s happening there. We want to go back to live there. We have our home there, everything is ready, so that’s what we want,” Messi told Sport.es.
Earlier, Messi said that his departure from Barcelona did not happen the way he would have liked.
The forward played for Barcelona from 2003 to 2021, making 778 appearances, scoring 672 goals, and providing 303 assists. During his time with the club, Messi won 10 La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey trophies, and four UEFA Champions League titles.
